Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie scorched the red carpet with this sexy half-up, half-down do.

  Print these instructions

STEP 1: Clean hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner.

STEP 2: Towel dry hair, blotting gently rather than rubbing, to avoid creating frizz or tangles.

STEP 3: Spray your entire head with a volumizing spray and work it into your hair with your fingertips.

STEP 4: Begin blow-drying hair with a round brush, away from your normal part to create volume, until completely dry.

STEP 5: Wrap 2-inch square sections of hair around the closed, heated barrel of a 1.5- to 2-inch curling iron.

STEP 6: Once the whole head is curled, run your fingers through the bottom curls to loosen them.

STEP 7: Tease and brush back the top layer of hair. Spray with a flexible-hold hair spray and gently smooth the surface without removing the newly created volume. Secure with bobby pins right below the crown.

STEP 8: Brush each side up and back while gently twisting, and anchor with bobby pins. Secure any loose or sagging hairs at the sides with hairpins.

STEP 9: Spray with a maximum-hold hair spray.
